Mob Skateboards
Over the years (starting way back in 2004) I’ve had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with Hessen Germany’s oh-so-colorful MOB Skateboards. Growing up in the American Midwest, skateboard graphics, skate magazines, and skate videos had me dreaming of the world beyond my small town. This culture was nothing if not individual. Skateboarding wasn’t just an activity or an identity, but a vehicle for creativity. There’s a good chance I never would’ve pursued a career in the visual arts if it weren’t for skateboarding. As such, I’ve always jumped at any opportunity to scribble on these beautiful planks of wood.
